I never thought that duck duck goose would cause me excessive harm. As I was bounding around the circle, chasing a small child, I slipped on some smooth cement, and fell full force onto my knees. No both knees hurt more than ever, and I don't know which one I should limp on.
I really enjoy it here. They children are so much fun to spend time with. They love to play with my hair and want me to spend more and more time with them. I love it!

Kelly has a tan?
I know.. I didn't think that me getting a tan would ever be possible.. BUT IT IS! It really isn't that dark. But I am getting a good flip flop tan line.
The children here are so amazing. Most of them you can tell have AIDS because of all the wonds on their boddies. But all they want to do is hug on you and jump all over you. It gets really tiering. But after a while you get used to having 3 kids jumping on your back.
I love it here. It is so nice. I love every one so much!!! Miss you all!

OH MY GOODNESSS!!!!!!
I am here now. Way too stressful trying to get money and having the ATM swallow my card for the 2nd time.
This is the first time that I have had the chance to really get online. I feel so bad that I haven't been able to talk to anyone at home. We don't have a phone or internt on the base. So this weekend I am getting a phone so I can have some contact.
I miss everyone so much. Everything here has been fun and exciting. It is hot and I have been so sunburnt. Anyways. Hope to update more later.
Love everyone!!!

Who ever built JFK airport into existence needs to rethink some things..They have like 8 different terminals. That means that if a fly into terminal 8 and your other flight flies out of terminal 4, you have to get through security AGAIN!
So I did all that, and then I realized that my plane is 2 hours late for South Africa. Then I get to South Africa, where I find that I have missed my connection. So I get my new ticket, and have to go through security AGAIN!!!! But here they don't make me take off my shoes! :)
I am so tired. I am sitting in South Africa airport waiting for my last plane. I think I got a total of 4 hours of sleep on the planes. And because I have been on different planes now, I can't get rid of the moving feeling that you get after going on a roller coaster 29 times.
I don't know what day today is. I think that it is Friday. But at the same time I think it's Sunday. I don't know any more... Too many time changes for me to keep up with.
Oh, and on top of all of that, I haven't taken a shower in a few days. Bleh....
God give me patience and strength.

Packing is Happening!
Organizing and re-organizing. Getting all the little things together like stuff sacks and the nectar of life! And this time the nectar doesn't consist of sugary, sticky when it spills, gives you an instant sugar rush: Mt. Dew. This time it is SPF 30!
I leave in a little over a week. I'm so excited! But all I can think about right now is how every day next week I will be thinking "This is my last Sunday at Church before I leave" or "This is the last football game I will watch until next football season". All together, that is a lot to think about..

Finding Facts
Elevation in Richland Washington: 384 FT
Elevation of Snoqualmie Pass: 3,022 FT
Elevation of Denver Colorado: 5,280 FT
Elevation in Windhoek Namibia: 5,606 FT
WHAT? I thought that the desert was going to be closer to sea level. But instead I'm in nose bleed zone. Seeing as the average temperature is between 86 to 68 degrees F, I would think that I would be closer to Richland's elevation.. But I won't be. I will be ABOVE the "mile high city".
Now, I knew that red clothes attracts bees, but I guess that it also attracts all other bugs. On top of that, white has the same result as red. Now seeing as red isn't exactly my color, I'm okay with not wearing it. But you see, I enjoy wearing white in hot areas as it reflects light better and doesn't make you so hot, but I guess that's out of the question. So if I don't want to look like a swollen full body bug bite, I should wear camouflage to blend in with my environment. However, camouflage is often illegal in various areas.
For the last ever-since-I-decided-to-do-this I have assumed that Windhoek is pronounced the way it sounds. Guess what... that's not how you say it. The proper way is vind-hook. Well that kinda through me off.
I have officially started to pack. I am trying to find every way to make more space for other things. I am smashing and condensing things so that I can get more little what-ever-I-needs into my suit case. It's not so exciting.
Stay tuned to hear: Kelly has gone crazy trying to pack 16 tubes of conditioner!
